Feeling this Way

Where do I begin, what do I say
It gets pretty confusing, when your feeling this way
I feel miserable and stressed out,
I want to break out.
I need to feel free, it’s hard feeling this way
I don’t know wether to cry or fake a smile
I could make it worth all my while.
Voices inside my head tell me everything will be alright
Sometimes it’s hard to put up a fight
I know I am strong, and I don’t like to feel wrong
I just don’t feel like I belong
It’s just so hard feeling this way

  1. I like this poem i Would of loved it to be longer though. And its good because the audience doesnt know why you are feeling that way, and because they dont know its easy for anyone to relate to this poem.

  2. As I read this,I couldn't help but smile. You conveyed an emotion I could strongly relate with. I felt the confusion and the want for a difference in the way you felt. It was real and simple. I didn't have to dig too deep for the meaning,it laid upon the surface. However,I feel as if this poem could have been better had u simply wrote what you felt without the intent of rhyming. Although rhyming can prove an effective technique,it can sometimes take away from the true emotion of a poem.
